You can blame Joel and me for making you endure this remarkable piece. I am glad he recommended it because it’s a good example of a well-organized visual presentation with several elements. Admittedly, it is not as complicated as the WaPo project we looked at Thursday morning. So the task of helping the reader find a starting point is not as challenging.
What do you think of it?
I thought this was an amazing piece. It was so moving to actually see and hear what the family was going through. I think the combination of stills and video really worked for this piece. It was easy to follow and understand. It raised awareness about the disease, while giving the audience insight into the pain, suffering and love this family felt.
